Lhasa, Tibet

Lhasa's elevation of 12,000 feet left me a bit breathless and so did the places and people we visited.

We stayed at the Dhood Gu Hotel in the oldest part of town, surrounded by markets and temples.  The annual yogurt festival was in full swing and everyone who could had left their homes on the mountainsides and come to town.
