Coffee is king in Costa Rica.  The weather in the Central Valley is perfect for grano do oro (the golden bean).

We visited Doka Estate, a 100 year old coffee finca (plantation) and saw how coffee is grown, roasted and processed.  Of course we sampled various brews.  My favorite was Cafe Tres Generaciones Peaberry.

We had a delicious lunch after visiting the Doka Butterfly Farm.
