The Sacred Valley of the Incas, along the Rio Urubamba, stretches from Pisac to Ollantaytambo, where the cliffs that flank the river grow closer together.  At Ollantaytambo we caught the train to Aguas Calientes and Machu Picchu.  The famed Inca Trail--stretching from Cuzco to the Lost City of the Incas runs parallel to the train tracts for much of the journey.
