Costa Rica Birds - 2016

Thanks to Freddy Madrigal, my amazing guide in Nicaragua and Costa Rica, and all the other members of my OAT tour group who pointed out birds and patiently waited for me to take their picture, I have hundreds of bird photos. What to do with them? How can I share without making the viewer's eyes glaze over?

I decided to place them in arbitrary categories that have little scientific basis. Let me know if you come up with an interesting new container and, of course, let me know if I have mis-identified my subjects.

I hope I have conveyed my love and amazement of these beautiful creatures! Now on to the rest of my photographs.
