| I visited the Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) area of Vietnam in December of 1974
and again in 1989. I am happy to report much recovery from years of
war.
After a night at the Oscar Hotel I joined a group of DoDDS Okinawa
educators led by the fantastic tour guide, Hoa Nguyen. He took us by
plane, train, bus, boat, cyclo and foot to see the wonders of middle and
northern Vietnam and south and central Cambodia. I highly recommend
Hoa tours.
