Tanzania Big 5

The term "Big Five" was coined by big-game hunters and refers to the five most difficult animals in Africa to hunt on foot. The five animals are the lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros. As a measure of the success of the safari it seems a bit arbitrary. I'm more intrigued by sighting the animals on the "Little Five" list. We saw elephant shrews, buffalo weavers, and ant lion nests. I took a picture of a leopard tortoise in Botswana. Now I just have to find the rhinoceros beetle to make my list complete.
