Red Pandas

Red pandas are also known as lesser pandas. Unlike giant pandas they are not related to bears. Instead, they are members of the raccoon family.

Both eat bamboo but they seldom meet. The giant pandas look for food mostly on the northern slope of mountains while the red pandas are found on the steep slope facing south.
