We reached Cano Negro Lodge after hours of bouncing down unpaved roads past small farms and wide wetlands. The hotel is located in the tiny town of Los Chiles not too far south of the Nicaraguan border. The Cano Negro Wildlife Refuge borders the town. Cano Negro Lodge is another example of eco-tourism in Costa Rica.
